MTB COMPETITION SOLE
Has been specifically studied for this specialty, may be fitted with two toe spikes on the front for traction in difficult and muddy conditions. The toe spikes are sold separately. The Air upper’s multitude of perforations increases the Kaos’ ventilation points and decreases foot temperature on long days under the hot sun.
SOFT INSTEP CLOSURE SYSTEM
The wide, anatomical and padded strap has been reduced and coupled to soft, thermo-formed material increasing comfort and performance. It distributes pressure evenly over the arch area, adjustable from both sides for perfect centering. Used with Caliper Buckle straps, it is serviceable and replaceable.
CALIPER BUCKLE
The micrometric closure called “Caliper Buckle” is adjustable by lifting the central buckle. In order to completely open, lift together both side buckles, or push the center button to slightly loosen one tooth at the time. The system is also adjustable during a race.
TECNO-3 SYSTEM
Sidi’s Tecno-3 System dials in fit along the mid and forefoot sections of the shoe, adapting the upper to the shape of the foot for a customized fit. Sidi’s famously reliable and replaceable closures are improved by an all new proprietary Sidi Wire material that is completely non-binding for intuitive and effortless on-the-fly adjustments. Like most Sidi small parts, the Tecno-3 System is serviceable and replaceable.
SIDI HEEL CUP
Reinforced cup that stabilizes and supports the heel. Anatomically shaped plastic, reduces heel slip and provides increased power transfer. Provides additional foot protection in the event of a crash.
