In the past, carbon rims have had a terrible reputation for braking, especially in wet weather. However, with the development of AC3 (All Conditions Carbon Control) technology, Campagnolo has changed that. By applying AC3 technology to the braking track, these wheels offer up to 40% better braking performance in the wet, and 20% better braking performance in the dry. Campagnolo Bora Ultra 35 wheels are built with a set of oversized, high flanged carbon-fiber hubs to reduce weight and improve stiffness. Filled with Campagnolo’s proprietary CULT ceramic bearings which increase efficiency, these hubs spin smoother, for longer. Using 18 bladed stainless-steel aero spokes in the front, and 21 in the rear, these hubs are laced and balanced to the carbon rim using Campagnolo’s distinctive G3 spoke pattern by a Campagnolo qualified technician. These design and manufacturing techniques create a wheelset that is incredibly torsionally stiff and efficient, ensuring maximum speed and lasting race-winning performance.
